Basketball Recap: West Jefferson Has No Trouble Against Benjamin Franklin

West Jefferson lost to Benjamin Franklin back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Everything went the West Jefferson Buccaneers' way against the Benjamin Franklin Falcons as the West Jefferson Buccaneers made off with a 62-42 victory.

West Jefferson's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-15-1. As for Benjamin Franklin, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-17.

West Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-39 loss against Kennedy on the 1st. As for Benjamin Franklin, they are taking a road trip to take on Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
