With a playoff win on the line, Freeman rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Davenport Gorillas as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Scotties as they're now sitting on three straight.
Freeman's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Davenport, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5-1.
The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Freeman will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague at 7:15 p.m. As for Davenport, they will challenge Newport at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Gorillas are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
