Lehman strolled into their game on Thursday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Dodge Vocational Panthers as they made off with a 12-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Kevin Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Jesus Flores was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rayniel Linares, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lehman lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Lehman's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Dodge Vocational, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Coming up, Lehman will head out to square off against Evander Childs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dodge Vocational will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' contest: after the Lions face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Dodge Vocational again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
