Sierra Vista had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Garey Vikings. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-2 victory on Tuesday.

Sierra Vista saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julien Solis, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave Solis a new career-high.

Sierra Vista's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Garey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
