Soccer Game Preview: Sylmar vs. Bell

The Sylmar Spartans will take on the Bell Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sylmar's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Sylmar is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Robert F. Kennedy Community get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Bell entered their tilt with Roybal on Thursday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Titans. Two seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Bell's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Sylmar, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Sylmar beat Bell by a goal in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, winning 1-0. Will Sylmar repeat their success, or does Bell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
