Camp Point Central's game  on Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  13-2 margin over the West Prairie Cyclones. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six  runs or more this season.
 Braizley Allison made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   one  hit. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Karly Peters and  Claire Huston did most of the damage at the plate:  Peters  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base, while  Huston  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run. Huston has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.  Adisen Mace was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs.
 Camp Point Central  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Prairie only posted  an  OBP of  .240.
Camp Point Central has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for West Prairie, they dropped their record down to 8-18 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Camp Point Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  5-4  loss against Seymour on the 13th. As for West Prairie, they will challenge Havana at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Ducks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so the Cyclones' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
