Basketball Recap: Cambridge Springs Comes Up Short

Cambridge Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 57-39 fall against the Rocky Grove Orioles. The Devils were probably out for revenge after losing 83-80 to them when the teams met back in December of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Noah Baughman, who went 10 of 22 on his way to 25 points and four steals for Rocky Grove. Baughman's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Carter, who posted 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Cambridge Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rocky Grove, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cambridge Springs will take on Maplewood in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Grove and Saegertown will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
