Northwest Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the ALA - Ironwood Warriors. That's more bragging rights for Northwest Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coming up, Northwest Christian will head out on the road to take on Yuma Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for ALA - Ironwood, they will take on ALA - Anthem South at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday.
