Tri-City Christian Academy piles up the points against Skyline - Gila River

In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They really took it to Skyline - Gila River for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-21 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Tri-City Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Tri-City Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Peyton Jacobsen, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jacobsen has scored at least a third of Tri-City Christian Academy's points. Allison Phillips was another key contributor, scoring two points along with 15 rebounds and five steals.

Tri-City Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Skyline - Gila River, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Tri-City Christian Academy will face off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Trinity Christian: 23.4, the Warriors: 20.9) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Skyline - Gila River, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Imagine Prep Coolidge comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
