Ballantyne Ridge is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Myers Park Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Ballantyne Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Ballantyne Ridge lost 5-2 to Cuthbertson on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wolves were already down 5-1.

Julia Freeman and Carter McCaskill scored both of Ballantyne Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Myers Park kept a clean sheet against Providence on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Mustangs were the better team in the second half.

Ballantyne Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Myers Park, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.
