Volleyball Recap: Veritas Prep Charter Find Success

While Veritas Prep Charter's victory against John J. Duggan Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Veritas Prep Charter skirted past John J. Duggan Academy 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Veritas Prep Charter.

Veritas Prep Charter wouldn't go down easily and took John J. Duggan Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-9, 25-18, 23-25, 15-8.

Veritas Prep Charter's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for John J. Duggan Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Veritas Prep Charter will venture away from home to challenge Mahar Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John J. Duggan Academy, they will head out to square off against Monument Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
