Volleyball Recap: Avalon Haro and Brooke Proctor Secure Win for Coronado

Coronado won the last time they faced San Marcos and things went their way on Saturday too. The Islanders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Islanders.

Coronado was led to victory by Brooke Proctor and Avalon Haro. Proctor had six digs and one block, while Haro had eight digs. Proctor has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 19 times she's played.

Coronado's record now sits at 29-5. As for San Marcos, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.

Coronado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Cathedral Catholic on the 11th. As for San Marcos, they will welcome Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
