Volleyball Recap: Richards Comes Up Short

After flying high against Leggett on Friday, Richards came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Chester Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Richards' loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Chester, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Richards will take on rival Goodrich at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chester is set to face off against their familiar foe Leggett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
