Football Recap: Zion Pass Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Banks County + How To Watch

Oglethorpe County hadn't done well against Banks County recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 42-20 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Oglethorpe County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Pass, who rushed for 92 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. That's the most rushing yards Pass has posted since back in August. Paris Crowder was another key back, rushing for 68 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Oglethorpe County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 162 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Oglethorpe County's record now sits at 6-4. As for Banks County, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
