Softball Game Preview: Bell Eagles vs. Legacy Tigers

For the second straight game, Bell will face off against Legacy. The Eagles will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bell has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with nine straight losses, while Legacy will come in with six straight wins.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bell's offense. They came up short against Legacy on Wednesday, falling 13-0.

For Legacy's part, the team relied heavily on Isabella Medina, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits Medina has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alissa Andon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Legacy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least one batters in six consecutive contests.

Legacy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
