Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wallowa Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-43 back in January.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Wallowa, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.

Elgin has already played their next match (against Powder Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wallowa also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Pine Eagle.
