Softball Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

Carter was the 16-14 winner over Seymour when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Seymour, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Carter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Cocke County on the 8th.
