Greenbrier is a perfect 10-0 against Evans since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Greenbrier Wolfpack will head out to square off against the Evans Knights at 5:30 p.m. Evans took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenbrier, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Greenbrier had just enough and edged out Lakeside 2-1. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Panthers are ranked 74th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ella Davis and Natalie Heckathorn scored both of Greenbrier's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Evans was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Effingham County.

Greenbrier is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those seven matchups. Evans' loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything went Greenbrier's way against Evans in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Greenbrier made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenbrier since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
