Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marian). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 75-33 victory over the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes. With the Mustangs ahead 47-21 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Cranbrook Kingswood lost, don't look at Madeline Day. Despite the final result, she posted 19 points and six boards.

The win made it two in a row for Marian and bumps their season record up to 6-15. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points on average over those games.
