Softball Recap: Chincoteague Takes a Loss

Chincoteague and Lancaster squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chincoteague had to settle for second. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 15-2. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Ponies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chincoteague's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lancaster, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

As of now, neither Chincoteague nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
