Basketball Recap: Lutheran West Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Lutheran West Longhorns came up short against the Hathaway Brown Blazers and fell 58-45.

Hathaway Brown can attribute much of their success to Jane Kennedy, who posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave Kennedy a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Morgan, who earned 12 points.

Lutheran West has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Hathaway Brown, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

Lutheran West will welcome Beachwood at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Hathaway Brown, they will head out on the road to face off against West Geauga at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
