Mize took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against South Jones, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mize Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the South Jones Braves on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Mize's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was AK Easterling, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.
