Basketball Recap: Umpqua Valley Christian Takes a Loss

The Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs lost 66-43 to the Country Christian Cougars on Monday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monarchs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-43 last Saturday.

Umpqua Valley Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6. As for Country Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Umpqua Valley Christian will welcome Pacific at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Umpqua Valley Christian is facing Pacific at the right time seeing as Pacific is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Country Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-34 win against Damascus Christian on the 4th.
