Preview: Troy Trojans vs. Greenville Green Wave

Troy is 8-2 against Greenville since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Troy Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Greenville Green Wave at 7:15 p.m. Troy is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

Last Saturday, Troy ended up a good deal behind Tippecanoe and lost 53-37.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kiyah Baker, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Baker set a new season high mark in points with 11. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Almeida, who scored six points along with four steals.

Even though they lost, Troy were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Greenville came up short against Butler on Friday and fell 36-24. Greenville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Greenville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Troy came up short against Greenville in their previous matchup back in January, falling 37-33. Can Troy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
