Baseball Game Preview: Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans vs. Calhoun County Saints

The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Calhoun County Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridge Spring-Monetta has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 2.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ridge Spring-Monetta's offense. They lost 17-0 to Saluda last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Calhoun County came up short against Boyd County on Thursday, falling 12-2.

Ridge Spring-Monetta's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Calhoun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Ridge Spring-Monetta skirted past Calhoun County 16-15 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
