Softball Game Preview: Otto-Eldred Terrors vs. Elk County Catholic Crusaders

The Otto-Eldred Terrors will venture away from home to face off against the Elk County Catholic Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Elk County Catholic will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Otto-Eldred extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday. The Terrors blew past Smethport 20-1. The Terrors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Elk County Catholic made easy work of Brookville on Tuesday and carried off a 13-3 win.

Elk County Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Otto-Eldred, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Everything went Otto-Eldred's way against Elk County Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Otto-Eldred made off with an 11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terrors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
