Pacific got themselves on the board against Owensville on Monday, but Owensville never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Dutchmen. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Dutchmen: they've now won six in a row.

The result came thanks to Bennett Parker's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Connor Mooney and Gavin Haddox did most of the damage at the plate: Mooney got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Haddox went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs Mooney has posted since back in April of 2024. James Imus was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Pacific hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.

Pacific's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Owensville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Pacific will host St. Clair at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Owensville, they will head out to face off against St. Francis Borgia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
