Basketball Game Preview: Cathedral Fighting Irish vs. Harmony Science Academy

The Cathedral Fighting Irish will square off against Harmony Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cathedral is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Last Tuesday, Cathedral didn't have too much trouble with Patterson Institute as they won 58-40.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Harmony Science Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 56-44 to Bowie.

Cathedral's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14. As for Harmony Science Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-14.

Cathedral strolled past Harmony Science Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 55-41. Does Cathedral have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harmony Science Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
