Flag Football Game Preview: Denver West Cowboys vs. George Washington Patriots

The Denver West Cowboys are taking a road trip to take on the George Washington Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

George Washington will be up against a hot Denver West team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Cowboys blew past Bruce Randolph 46-24 on Tuesday. The Cowboys' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last matchup, George Washington made sure to put some points up on the board against Hinkley on Tuesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 32-12 margin over the Thunder.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to George Washington's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Brooke Hunter and Jada McConnell-Ashe, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Denver West's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for George Washington, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-6.
