Knoxville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match with ease, bagging an 87-30 victory over the Cardinal Comets. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Comets are ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Knoxville's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Cardinal, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knoxville will square off against Davis County on Monday. Davis County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Knoxville likes a good challenge. As for Cardinal, they will face off against Centerville at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
