Basketball Game Preview: Robertsdale Golden Bears vs. Cottage Hill Christian Academy Warriors

Robertsdale is 0-4 against Cottage Hill Christian Academy since December of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Robertsdale Golden Bears will take on the Cottage Hill Christian Academy Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Robertsdale is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game last Saturday. They lost to Spain Park on the road by a 55-38 margin. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Jaguars are ranked 133rd).

Robertsdale's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Anthony Carmichael, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points and six rebounds, and Skyler Washington, who posted ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Cottage Hill Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Salem, falling 79-57.

Robertsdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Robertsdale might still be hurting after the 76-56 loss they got from Cottage Hill Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in November. Can Robertsdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
