Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson-Reed). Everything went their way against the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights on Friday as the Jackson-Reed Tigers made off with a 61-41 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Jackson-Reed has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Jackson-Reed will be taking part in a tournament against McDonough at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thurgood Marshall Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
