Baseball Recap: Campbell County Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

There's no place like home for Campbell County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the DuPont Manual Crimsons on Saturday by a score of 3-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Campbell County's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-10-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for DuPont Manual, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Coming up, Campbell County will be playing at home against Sayre at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Camels 3.1, the Spartans 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for DuPont Manual, they will host Bullitt Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Crimsons surely won't give up without a fight.
