Texico is 5-0 against Jal since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The two teams will face off at 5:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Texico will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Texico was able to grind out a solid win over Logan, taking the game 49-41.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jal, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Loving 56-11 on Thursday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Texico has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Jal, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-11.
