Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nazareth Academy). They claimed a resounding 69-27 victory over the Hancock Eagles. Given the Roadrunners' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Eagles are ranked 633rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nazareth Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Hancock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.

Nazareth Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hancock, they will face off against Englewood Stem at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hancock is facing Englewood Stem at the right time seeing as Englewood Stem is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
