Football Recap: Scappoose Indians vs. Tillamook Cheesemakers        
        
		
             Scappoose won against St. Helens  last Friday with 46  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Friday. The Scappoose Indians strolled past the Tillamook Cheesemakers with  points to spare, taking the game  46-27. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the   46-29 defeat the Cheesemakers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2023.
 Scappoose found their leader in underclassman  Elijah Greenan Biggs, who rushed for 90 yards and three touchdowns. Those 90  rushing yards set a new season-high mark for  Greenan Biggs. Another player making a difference was  Max Nowlin, who threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns.
 Scappoose didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Brayden Miller,  Nolan Lennox,  and  Brandon Neilson picked up one apiece.
 Scappoose's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Tillamook, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scappoose will square off against Astoria at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Scappoose is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 44.7  points per game  this season. As for Tillamook, they will take on Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
