Basketball Recap: Rochelle Takes a Loss

Rochelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Sterling Golden Warriors, falling 68-35. While losing is never fun, the Hubs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 360th, while the Golden Warriors are ranked 32nd).

Rochelle's defeat dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Sterling, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-5.

Rochelle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sterling, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-38 win against Plano on the 20th.
