Baseball Recap: Faith Lutheran Takes a Loss

Faith Lutheran's tournament run continued when they took on Jesuit on Monday. The Crusaders fell 7-4 to the Marauders.

Faith Lutheran saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Legat, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Faith Lutheran has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Jesuit, their record is now 13-6.

Coincidentally, Faith Lutheran and Jesuit will both be playing Salpointe Catholic the next time they take the field. The Crusaders will host the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Marauders will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
