Tri-Valley is 10-0 against Philo since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Tri-Valley is headed into Thursday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-60 heartbreaker at the hands of John Glenn. While the Scotties didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Little Muskies 18-14 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Philo ended up a good deal behind Zanesville on Friday and lost 61-42.

Tri-Valley's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Philo, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Tri-Valley against Philo in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-37 win. Will Tri-Valley repeat their success, or does Philo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
