Soccer Recap: Hutchison Takes a Loss

Hutchison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Lathrop Malemutes. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Hutchison were already down 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Kelly Gregor, which was the first she's scored this season.

Hutchison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Hutchison will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Monroe Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hutchison's defense better be ready for this one: Monroe Catholic have averaged an impressive 7 goals per game this season. As for Lathrop, they will square off against West Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lathrop are facing West Valley at the right time seeing as West Valley are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
