Austyn Childs Game Report: vs Seven Rivers Christian

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Austyn Childs stepped things up a notch to give Weeki Wachee the 'W'. Childs was unstoppable, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Coming up, Childs and Weeki Wachee are taking a road trip to square off against Dunnellon at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Childs has dominated as far as stolen bases are concerned (she's averaged 2.2 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Tigers have only allowed 0.33 per game this season.
