Baseball Recap: Madison's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Madison took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Eaton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mohawks had just enough and edged out the Eagles 6-5 on Wednesday. While the Mohawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win was the third in a row for Madison, bringing their record up to 4-1. As for Eaton, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Madison will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
