Baseball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Trinity Lutheran, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Loogootee Lions on Saturday. With that win, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Drake Goodpaster made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
