Volleyball Recap: Alhambra Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Alhambra walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 1st.

Alhambra had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 19-25, 25-12, 25-18, 16-14.

Alhambra is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Archie Williams, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-21.

Coming up, Alhambra will head out to take on Berean Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Archie Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
