Volleyball Recap: North Kansas City Takes a Loss

North Kansas City was the 3-0 winner over Northeast when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayson Gudiel paced North Kansas City's offense, picking up ten kills. Gudiel got some help from Haythay Htoo and his 16 assists.

North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-2. As for Northeast, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6-1 record.

North Kansas City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Grandview on the 28th. Northeast has also already played their next game (against Winnetonka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
