Softball Preview: Fairfax Lions vs. Palisades Dolphins
The Fairfax Lions will face off against the Palisades Dolphins at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Fairfax comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Fairfax fell victim to North Hollywood and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Huskies.
Meanwhile, Palisades narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past University 7-6.
Sarah Feldman looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kharlee Sanders was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Heather Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
