Baseball Recap: Parma Comes Up Short

Parma managed to slip by Melba the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Parma has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Melba, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parma will challenge Vision at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Parma is facing Vision at the right time seeing as Vision is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Melba, they will square off against Marsing at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season.
