If Valor South Austin was riding high fresh off their 18-4 takedown of LBJ Austin last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell just short of Manor New Tech by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Beck Forrester was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Timothy Noble, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Valor South Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Manor New Tech, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
