Flag Football Game Preview: Central Rockets vs. Carol City Chiefs

The Central Rockets will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Carol City Chiefs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Dr. Krop, posting a 34-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rockets needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Carol City owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over Hialeah. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chiefs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Carol City now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Central against Carol City in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as the squad secured a 39-0 win. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Chiefs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
