Softball Recap: The Colony Comes Up Short

The Colony lost against Reedy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars came up short against the Lions, falling 13-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Colony's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Reedy, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Colony will head out to take on Newman Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Reedy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lone Star at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
